What is dual citizenship?
Multiple citizenship, or multiple nationality, is a status whereby a person is seen as a citizen under the laws of several states.
Why would you consider having dual citizenship?
-You have access to two different social system services.
-You can vote in either country.
-You are allowed to work in either country without needing a working permit.
-You are able to attend school in either country at a citizen tuition rate.
-You can travel with more ease, eliminating the need for long-stay visas.
-You can own property in either country.
-You are likely to acquire the cultural education of the two countries.
Are you eligible for dual citizenship?
Bellow is a list of countries that do not allow dual nationality.
If the country you are looking for is not listed above, then it accepts dual citizenship status.
Keep in mind that countries amend nationality laws from time to time and are subject to change.
